Responsibilities |
Job description:
· Work with application engineer exchange view of products and accessories selection to meet customer requirement
· Review or redesign if required before the General assembly drawing and Schematic drawing submit to customer for approval
· Design mounting kit for valve and accessories
· Answer technical questions, resolve workshop problems during automation work
· Develop capability and competency within the region to deliver Valve Automation product and system training utilising Valve Automation product certified trainers, through both EPM entities and representatives.
· Develop and conduct formalized Valve Automation technical training courses for Valve Automation/EPM/Rep offices and customers.
· Establish standardization of processes and drive best practices.
· Interact and communicate effectively with global Valve Automation for technical and engineering issue and development
· Overcoming hierarchical boundaries to secure resources to meet project schedule and performance commitments
· Assist in after sales service
· Perform any other tasks as and when assigned |
Requirements |
Requirement:
· BS degree in Mechanical, Automation, Electrical, or Process Equipment & Control is required with 3-5 years experience in process control industry
· Knowledge of instrumentation & Controls, IEC, ANSI, ASTM, BS, API and ASME std. relayed to Valve, Actuator and controls.
· Creative thinker with solid analytical skills, and results-oriented.
· A motivated self-starter with an understanding of design engineering fundamentals and track record of their application.
· Assist in build organizational climate that continuously supports creativity, commitment, responsiveness, quality, motivation and achievement of strategic objectives.
· Solid people management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
· Proficiency in written technical English is required; conversational English is required.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office applications – CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Project
· Experience with valve and accessory assembly will be highly recognized
· Experience level will determine successful candidate grade level and compensation.
