| Responsibilities |
1. Able to provide output for and shop aide tool design for new and reworked tool from concept to fabrication in a composite factory (primarily for ply locating templates and hand route fixtures)
2. Develop tool modification and coordinate with quality inspector ensuring final compliance with engineering configuration change requirement
3. Must be able to determine the cause and disposition tool rejection tag and initiating the tool repair/rework shop order
4. Serve as technical liaison and interact as needed with customer, manufacturing, quality assurance and tool shop
5. Investigate, document and resolve tooling problems encountered in production and provide tooling input as required
6. Routine management of tools
7. well know machining process, for instance selection of machining parameter and rout and drill bit |
| Requirements |
Four year degree in a related engineering field, majoring in mechanical is preferred
· Minimum 5 years combined experience in tooling and tool fabrication
·Must be well versed with CAD design. Familiarity with optical tooling techniques, i.e. theodolite/CMM/Laser Tracker data experience is preferable. |
