| Responsibilities |
What will you do if join us?1.Transparency of material cost structureMaintain knowledge about production technology and costing in specific material field.Apply appropriate tools for Cost Analysis and Optimization, Supply Chain Productivity Improvement and Design to Value along the PLM / PM processSupport global value sourcing activities of LDA HQ with regard to identification/ nomination of capable and competitive suppliers in China/ Asia2. Cost and value models and design rulesEstablish cost and value models as well as design rules that use information on specific production processes, production equipment, suppliers and related costsMaintain and provide benchmark data on design characteristics (e.g. material thickness, surface quality, curvature) and related costs3. Design to Cost and StandardizationCompile feasible costs per component as basis for bottom-up target indication and cost split.Propose alternative manufacturing scenarios and quantification of potentials to Systems CVEs and other Procurement functions.Calculate cost baselining and regular cost updates for components acc. to maturity of designChallenge requirements and related costs as basis for proposals of design-to-cost measures to R&D along the Design process, and quantify financial impact expectation.4. Supply Chain Productivity ImprovementGenerate transparency in supplier processes, applied technologies and related costsIdentify and quantify improvement potentials, contribute transparency to negotiationsCoach suppliers in technology-based and lean optimization of their supply chain |
| Requirements |
Who are we looking for?1. At least 6 years‘ experience with min 3 years in Manufacturing/R&D/ENG2. Strong written and verbal communication skills3. Proofed ability to align with international business partners and cross-functional departments4. Fluent in English5. Location in China. Tianjin or Shanghai |
