| Responsibilities |
· Main Responsibilities 主要职责
1. Lead to develop rack and pinion actuator product
2. Lead to develop innovative design concepts employing the latest design and manufacturing technology as applicable. Demonstrate ability to follow through with verification and implementation of design concepts into production.
3. Operate and effectively utilize 3-D computer aided design (CAD) systems, analysis tools, and a data management network for design and documentation generation and control. Develop and maintain product bill of materials, product user manuals, and assembly/test standards.
4. Produce detailed mechanical drawings per ANSI Y14.5 standard
5. Process engineering change requests/notices.
6. Compiling of bill-of-materials (BOMs) and product structures
7. Support vendor development activities such as new vendor qualification and first article qualification. Components are typically fabricated or cast metal.
8. Identify and implement product cost reduction ideas
9. Follow relevant Valve Automation standards pertaining to documentation control, revision, design methods, materials and analysis.
10. Collect, maintain, and organize project file documentation in proper order and in accordance with Valve Automation Engineering standards.
11. Interpret and apply geometric positioning and tolerancing standards to complex assemblies in accordance with Valve Automation drafting and design standards.
12. Interact and communicate effectively with the global Design Engineering and Manufacturing organizations as required.
· Qualifications /Experience 资格及经验要求
1. BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Automation, or Process Equipment & Control is required.
2. Minimum 5 years design experience in gear transmission, process control industry, or similar backgrounds desired.
3. A motivated self-starter with an understanding of design engineering fundamentals and their application.
4. Creative ability required with solid analytical skills.
5. Individual must possess effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
6. Prior experience with rack and pinion systems, gear system, especially those for actuation is a plus.
7. Previous experience with Solid Edge and Team Center is highly desirable; some 3D CAD experience is required.
8. Prior project management experience is a plus
9. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Previous usage of MS PowerPoint and MS Project a plus.
10. General knowledge of metal fabrication techniques is a plus.
11. Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, GB/T and other industry codes and standards a plus.
12. Proficiency in written technical English is required; conversational English is required.
13. 3D CAD experience/knowledge required, with Solid-Edge exposure a plus.
14. Willing to travel internationally; eligible for US, European Union, and Canadian visas |
