Responsibilities |
FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE - Develop, plan and hands-on management of pretreatment and E-coat related activities with regard to launch and maintenance at the customer site. This includes Line Trouble Shooting and the implementation of current or new technology, on a global basis as assigned, in accordance with Business and Technical strategies for Automotive Coatings. Expertise integrates and coordinates the technical, business, and customer groups ensuring customer satisfaction. In charge of growing our expertise by managing all related activities of the launches and trouble-shooting including training & developing TSSRs to gain customer trust in China for company pretreatment and E-coat capabilities. Supported by company Global Technical Team including Cleveland, USA and Marly, France. This position need to work closely with global pretreatment and E-coat technical team for product development and improvement to make successful technology launches and trouble-shooting in China. Work together with China Product Management Team and Business Team to lead marketing initiatives for pretreatment and E-coat products introduction and launch. Work closely with Business, Technical and Product Management Team to collect China customer engineering standards for Zircobond technology continuous improvement to meet China customer requirements. Be responsible for customer line design/ modification review to make sure customer line is capable for company technology. Be responsible for customer engineering standards review with technical to verify company products are capable to meet all customer requirements. Define Technical Secure Launch Procedures; develop training courses for on-site TSRs and Customers. Ensures expertise and knowledge are properly conducted and documented. Ensure leading pretreatment and E-coat line trouble shooting including monitoring on site SPS TSRs for daily tank maintenance and make sure company products are correctly used on customer site. Be responsible for giving suggestions for DOE design with our chemists for trouble-shooting. Develop standard format for line service people to implement daily line check, record and line issues description. Conduct training for line service people to build up basic line service capabilities. Be responsible for customer training for pretreatment and E-coat technology. Continuous self-growth and development through involvement in appropriate on and off the job activities |
Requirements |
1. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent 2. At least 7 years pretreatment or E-coat working experience. 3. Solid knowledge of the Automotive Coatings 4. Good Communication and learning ability 5. Fluent in English 6. Willing to coach and develop others 7. Be self-motivated and have ability to manage several complex tasks at time 8. Must be willing to travel and travel with extended stays. Travel time is possible more than 60%. |
