Responsibilities |
This position has acquired a new dimension with the advent of continuous flow manufacturing and point of use inventory. Inventory accuracy is a major requirement necessary for the successful operation of the company. The activities of transaction control, transaction accuracy, timely receipt transactions, and movement to owner, have now become a very important responsibility required for proper inventory control and production.
Maintenance of high inventory accuracy is necessary to insure a valid material plan and a financial statement. Provide supervision to the Receiving/ Shipping personnel.
Insure compliance to all ISO documentation and requirements.
Insure timely and accurate receipt transaction and subsequent movement to rightful owner.
Assist in the expansion and refinement of RF bar coding on purchased material.
Assist in the development of JIT delivery opportunities.
Assist in expanding the use of returnable containers or other packaging methods so as to reduce dunnage and material handling. |
Requirements |
Three to five years experience in an industrial environment with one to two years in a production and inventory control activity or equivalent, (at least two years experience in assembly or manufacturing fabrication operation or equivalent).
BS degree in Business Administration or equivalent. |
