| Responsibilities |
Position Objective职位目标Lead and manage a team of Commodity Managers and Supplier Performance Engineers, driving the development and implementation of supply chain strategies in China, with alignment to Global Supply Chain objectives. Support strategic operational initiatives, working closely with the Asia PacificPlant Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Global Supplier Quality teams. Optimize supply chain effectiveness through continuous improvement of supplier performance.Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet GSC objectives:1. Lead and manage the GSC team in China2. Work with GSC AP and China team to:o Understand the needs and objectives of the sites/WA/Business Unito Establish commodity strategies to manage growth and risk within the supplychain, with alignment towards Global Supply Chain and Operation strategies.o Evaluate, select, qualify and develop new suppliers to meet required cost and lead time objectives. o Identify, coordinate, and track implementation of e-sourcing events.o Timely completion of contract negotiations and quantifying benefits.3. Drive cost containment and DPO improvement opportunities inChina4. Oversee and drive improvements to meet supplier performance objectives: OTD and Lead Time5. Develop supplier plans/goals that drive continuous improvement in manufacturing process, inventory and capacity planning, allowing improvement in cost, delivery and lead time.6. Support Plant Operations on strategic initiatives such as New Product Development and Localization7. Support AP and China Strategic Sourcing initiatives for key projects, offering optimum cost, lead time and quality to support the needs of the business8. Engagement and cooperation with Final Control team in implementing strategies for key commodities9. Adherence to company values and Supply Chain policies10. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of global industry activity through close workingrelationships with suppliers, trade organizations, and market trends.· |
| Requirements |
Qualifications /Experience资格及经验要求· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with minimum 10 years relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 15 years relevant experience· Experience in direct materials supply chain management, especially in supplier development and commodity management· Good oral and written command of English· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications· Good communication, leadership & motivational skills· Strong negotiation skills and· Knowledge of problem solving and lean manufacturing, with basic ISO9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS18001 knowledge |
