Position Finance Analysis Supervisor

Responsibilities A Fortune 500 German Company in Chemical Industry

Purpose of the position

- This is an Areal role which resides at major operation site
- Reports to Area Financial Controller.
- Roles have Area responsibility - frequent travel outside the base is expected.

Principal responsibilities

Responsible for providing business & financial support to the Area business in the form of:
- Support business/financial integration for new projects including acquisitions/mergers.
- Support month-end closing and annual closing process;
- Provide variance analysis against Performance Contract and underlying explanations as pre agreed timeline;
- Drive the annual planning process for the Area, and prepare relevant analysis and reports;
- Prepare cash flow forecast to support treasury on funding activities;
- Lead and drive business decision support including specific initiatives/programme support, eg Whatif analysis, make vs buy, market product decisions, profit improvement programmes, cost management, supply chain optimisation, pricing, trade working capital analysis, etc;
- Assist business case development for new projects, implementation & continued monitoring to ensure consistency with Linde Group policy and guidelines;
- Assist the development and implementation of Area KPIs, Scorecards, etc;
- Support system implementation jncluding but not limited to SAP, SAP PM etc;
- Assist Area Finance Controller to deliver Performance Contract
