| Responsibilities |
MAJOR PURPOSE:
Manages all accounting activities in accordance with corporate and division policies, procedures, and
requirements and provides financial analysis and counseling to enhance operational processes and results.
MAJOR DUTIES: Description of the major duties performed in this job.
* Participates as member of Unit Management Team and provides financial
counseling and assistance, including analysis and recommendations, to
enhance operations and results.
* Manages all unit accounting activities to ensure that financial processes
and information are accurate, timely, and contain adequate internal
controls.
* Participates in the Business Unit's or Units' strategic planning and
projects to enhance operations and results.
Champions various work teams or initiatives. |
| Requirements |
Technical Skills & Knowledge
* Understanding of financial concepts such as Budgets, Discounted Cash Flow
(DCF), Return on Investment (ROI), Operating Return on Assets (OROA),
Shareholder Value Added (SVA), etc
* Knowledge of financial principles required for budgeting and strategic
planning.
* Understanding of financial statements, cash flow and key financial ratios.
* Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.
* Knowledge of SAP systems
* Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship
to disclosure and financial reporting
* Experience with Manufacturing Industry is preferred. |
