Responsibilities |
SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position is major responsible for a comprehensive range of Supply Chain processes in JLG’s Tianjin Plant. The individual will be responsible for Master Scheduling, Material Planning, MRP and MRO Purchasing and Inventory Control in Tianjin.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The incumbent will report directly to General Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
In a low volume and high mix products environment, lead master scheduling, tactical procurement and MRO purchasing functions to:
1. Improve suppliers’ OTD and minimize materials related downtime
2. Coordinate with global sales team to improve customer OTD performance
3. Reduce materials inventory
4. Coordinate with strategic team for materials localization and improve both our suppliers’ lead time and MOQ
5. Reduce logistic cost mainly freight cost
6. Minimize end of life and obsolete materials inventory
7. Introduce new products
8. Continue to drive both MRP and MRO materials cost reduction
9. Work closely with SQE team for DMR materials disposition
10. Train and develop subordinates |
Requirements |
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree with at least 8 years of material management experiences preferably in a low volume and high mix environment
2. ERP knowledge and experiences
3. Master scheduler and buyer experiences are preferred
4. Strong leadership and communication skills
5. Good command of written and spoken English.
6. Sound performance records with both integrity and work ethic |
