Responsibilities |
Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure key stakeholder involvement in supplier management plan and implement the overall procurement activities in close cooperation with Wuqing site leaders (Management, PMO, Engineering, Buyer, Quality, …) including:· Supply Chain set up:o Define Procurement process (DOA, Supplier Risk Matrix, KPI´s …)o Develop Supplier Quality Assurance Program together with site quality team and in line with NBU Strategy to ensure best selection of supplier and supplier qualification,o Monitor supplier performances though scorecards (OTD, Margin Lift-up, NCR, …)o Early identification of supply disruption risks including backup plans, market price follow-up etc.o Drive improvement projects with key supplierso Being active part of staff meetings to present current project status and development progresso Professional leadership of procurement buyerso Set quarterly business reviews with key supplierso Implementation of solid supplier contract management· Cost position improvement:o Be engaged in proposal process and own the purchasing budgets (Costing Model) in execution phaseo Consider TCO including optimization of logistic costs or make-or-buy decisiono Ensuring the quality of the steps in the S&OP process (demand, replenishment, and production planning)· Supplier development & performance improvement:o Nuclear safety culture, Quality, Lead-time, On Time Delivery and Risk Managemento Develop our relationship with strategic suppliers (frame agreement, stocking program, and lead time reduction for KOB3)o Ensure suppliers are capable to serve nuclear industry (Codes and Standards) in China and Europe (RCCM)· Execution phase: o Project sourcing strategy need to be approved by our customers (if contractually required). o Improve financial KPI (Back-to-back T&C, Inventory, DPO, Cash-flow, LD, Warranty, Margin Lift-up) |
Requirements |
Qualifications /Experience· Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification· At least 5 years professional experience in Supply Chain· Solid experience in large project procurement negotiation (including T&C)· Think global and act local mentality· Knowledge on Quality, Problem Solving and Continuous improvement will be a preference as well project management skills· Casting, forging, machining, welding, testing processes & Nuclear Codes (RCCM, ASME, …) knowledge will be appreciated· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)· Good verbal / written communication in English is required |
