Responsibilities |
SUMMARY
Function as the liaison between Tianjin Tactical GPSC and Shanghai Strategic GPSC teams. Must be willing and able to lead coordination with internal and external functional groups/customers, making the best decisions for the division and the corporation. This individual will be energetic and will have a positive influence on the organizations sourcing requirements through lean thinking, problem solving, negotiating, communicating and stakeholder leadership in order to meet the department, divisional and corporate sourcing goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive and push on smooth supply chain management, review and ensure appropriate purchasing parameters are set up and maintained.
2. Support factory Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) RAW reduction, work on vendor lead times and MOQ reduction.
3. Support factory KPI's Delivery on improving supplier On-Time-Delivery (OTD) performance and optimize supplier delivery frequency.
4. Drive JLG Tianjin key cost reduction projects to improve cost competitiveness.
5. Drive Plan-For-Every-Part (PFEP) through working closely with production materials, industrial engineering, and Shanghai GPSC.
6. Drive Supplier Portal and Section J OSK-JLG global requirement and any global initiated projects.
7. Provide key bridge between New Product Development and new parts phase to ensure smooth start-up. |
Requirements |
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent
8-plus years related procurement experience and commodity management experience in heavy mechanical industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Project Management experience desired specifically in regard to the purchasing, materials, and/or manufacturing area
Skill and knowledge in areas of negotiating and utilization of the principles of purchasing
Proven skills in implementation and consensus building |
