Responsibilities |
? Manage the KDM SQE team, working to improve supplier performance and management systems. ? Implement, measure to pre-determined key supplier metrics, ensuring suppliers adhere to these and administer the use of robust countermeasures as necessary. ? Ensure regular, professional, communication systems are developed (internal and external) and followed with all key suppliers to measure their performance and manage any delinquencies in a timely manner. ? Audit suppliers as necessary to ensure compliance to procedures and completion of any outstanding items previously identified. ? Communicate quality issues solution and continuous quality improvement with the suppliers driving high performance and smooth supply. ? Correlate and clarify specifications with supplier. ? Request supplier to provide the related quality reports or records, and file the documents accordingly. ? Qualify new supplier or sub-contractor with purchasing and engineering, responsible for approving FAI or PPAP package from supplier. ? Perform and train suppliers as scheduled. ? Perform other duties as required. |
Requirements |
· B.S. engineering, electrical or mechanical degree preferred. · 5 to 8 years experience in a high tech manufacturing environment required. · Familiar with supplier management and supplier qualified. · Strong resolving technical / quality / issues with proposal, · Strong understanding of quality principles, familiar with QS9000 / TS16949 · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from engineers, managers, and supplier. · Ability to write reports, business correspondence, evaluations and other similar papers. · Fluent in both oral and written English. |
