Responsibilities |
Goal of Job Provides both strategic & professional advice to the site plant manager on the full range of EHS and technology. Main Tasks Implement the factory Safety and Environmental Management Systems Determine EHS and other plant training needs and provide training Coordinate process safety issues, waste disposal and other environmental activities Develop annual EHS improvement and training plans for achieving targets Implement Corporate EHS initiatives, develop safe job procedures Perform routine safety and housekeeping inspections Lead accident investigations and conduct periodic accident analysis Responsible for develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques, install training and monitoring, set and achieve cost savings targets, eliminate waste and build quality into the production process Act as a Champion of lean manufacturing – introduction of standard work, 5S, TPM, continuous improvement. Lean initiatives etc Develop & improve the production/material processes to streamline the operations and improve the production efficiency |
Requirements |
Qualification and professional experience University degree in technical field. Expected to have a minimum of 8 years experience with at least 5 years in mid to high-level managerial assignments in multinational corporations. Must have strong communication skills. He should have good capability of problem analysis and decision-making; result-oriented; promote change and innovation Excellent team builder and people motivator Self-starter, positive attitude, resilience, good time management skills. Fluent command of English and Mandarin / written and spoken Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel, MS project, etc.). |
