| Responsibilities |
· Provide the supervision, coordination, guidance, and evaluation of the quality engineering function.
· Perform quality planning for new projects according to VBPD process, submits PPAP/FA reports to customers.
· Collecting and reporting quality metrics, analyze defect data (production, scrap, and RMAs) to ensure root cause resolution.
· Drives corrective actions and continuous improvements.
· Interface with customers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective action or 8D.
· Actively participate in design kick-off and design review activities.
· Actively lead teams which involve various functions towards problem solving and work excellence |
| Requirements |
· B.S. engineering, electrical or mechanical degree preferred.
· More than 3 years experience in a high tech manufacturing environment required.
· Strong understanding of quality principles
· Strong on statistical process control knowledge
· Familiar with ISO9001:2000 and TS16949 is preferred.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from engineers, managers and customers.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, evaluations and other similar papers.
· Fluent in both oral and written English.
· Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Mail preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills. |
