| Responsibilities |
1. Manages strategic sourcing business based on related commodity and implementing enterprise/global/divisional strategies, focus on material which significantly impact enterprise objectives
2. Implement sourcing strategies for responsible commodity of new product programs to achieve program quality and cost goal
3. Work with other divisional and enterprise strategic sourcing managers developing and improving the strategic sourcing process, reviewing commodity strategy with supply council to assure divisional and enterprise leverage
4. Good understanding on market and relate supplier, develop and manage relate suppliers and set up supplier data base for responsible commodity, build up good relationship with them.
5. Monitor the concerned material price in market, analyzed purchased commodity cost, ensure procurement of John Deere at same or lower than market cost level
6. Devote to material quality improvement of supplier, by communicating with relate parties, such as QC, Engineering, supplier etc, and monitor the progress |
| Requirements |
· Education: University/College or equivalent, majored in mechanical, casting, enterprise management background is additional value
· Experience: at least 3 years operation experience in procurement, and relate business background will be preferred, such as QC, production control, IE, etc
· Language: good in English and Chinese both writing and speaking
· Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
· Enterprise system: SAP / ERP
· Other Key Competencies: High discipline, good ethic performance, proactive working attitude, good social working skill and persistent with good team spirit |
