Responsibilities |
MAJOR PURPOSE: Plans and manages Quality Engineering for current and future products , to align and achieve the strategic quality goals and customer needs. This involves direction for personnel and establishment of processes for the purpose of delivering quality products when the customer requires it in a safe and productive manner. Additional focus is on planning, execution and realization of Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, Quality Control and Quality Inspection. MAJOR DUTIES: Description of the major duties performed in this job. * Develops and/or executes the quality planning direction for both Product Delivery Process (PDP) and Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) activities for the unit's programs. Includes reporting customer satisfaction metrics to promote customer driven continuous improvement as well as customer driven feature enhancements/additions on new programs. * Monitors progress to achieve unit quality objectives and aligns processes, projects and resources to obtain the expected outcome. * Manages a staff of Quality Engineering Supervisors and Quality Engineers. * Ensures the Quality Policy and Quality Management system are defined and implemented, which includes documenting and verifying that the organization is following the processes. Be responsible for maintaining registration of the Quality Management System to the International Standards Organization (ISO) standard. * Participates on the unit management team and provides input to the unit General Manager, operations and design, Division Director of Quality and others. * Maintains the organizations Quality tools skills, Quality Engineering expertise and provides training on mission critical tools and processes. * Develops, tracks and meets capital and expense budget for area of responsibility. * Performs administrative duties related to performance management, salary pay plan, succession planning, resource planning, training, and development of direct reports. |
Requirements |
1 Bachelor's degree, mechanical related major preferred.
2. more than 8 year's working experience in the quality field.
3. more than 5 years' managerial experience
4 good command of English, both spoken and written.
5 good problem solving ability, hold sense of responsibility. |
