Summary
The production manager manages the daily manufacturing activities to meet delivery, quality and efficiency objectives under ESH requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Manage and troubleshoot daily product activities to meet delivery, quality and efficiency objectives.
· Maintain in-process control to ensure product quality.
· Manage and control material flow on the shop floor to meet production requirements.
· Supervise the skill training for operators, line leaders and supervisors for employee development.
· Maintain a safe and positive work environment for employees under the ESH and governmental requirements.
· Implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment for desire efficiency.
· Support and drive VBSS projects to reduce cost and improve efficiency in production.
· Support ISO 9001 quality system requirements and ISO 14001 system requirements.
· Support production transfer projects from and to the factory.
· Ensure 5S activities are executed effective in all areas of production.
· Support new product prototyping activities. |
| Requirements |
Qualifications & Skills
Ÿ Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering with automation knowledge.
Ÿ Familiar with the knowledge of production costing, connectors and switches industry, local regulatory and legal information.
Ÿ Good skills in people management and training, equipment maintenance, quality management techniques including SPC, VBSS skills, 5S and Lean Manufacturing Knowledge. |
