Responsibilities |
· Manage the planning and warehouse function, manage subordinates and train them.
· Plan and control material flow in and out from warehouse, Maintain optimum stock levels and inventory investment to support production schedules.
· Capacity planning for production in accordance with the yearly rolling forecast.
· Provide Head Count Planning based on the capacity planning and generate monthly report.
· Work with day to day production scheduling, and collect daily output, WIP and finished goods data for the daily production meeting.
· Responsible to communicate with Customer Service Department to provide delivery commitment, review sales order traveler and ensure on time delivery target is achieved for each month.
· Generate Manufacturing Order and track the status for all the open MO.
· Manage the planning system, Work with the MRP system to ensure the data entered from manufacturing department is accurate and in time.
· Interpret and transfer customer flexible delivery requirements to Purchasing Department, ensure material supplied just in time and in the right quantity.
· Attend the daily production meeting with all the WIP, FG accurate data collected by each day.
· Communicate and cooperate within the Customer Service Department / Purchasing Department to fulfill the production plan to the right quantity on the right time.
· Continuously support to reduce WIP, improve on time delivery, and eliminate waste with the concept of lean manufacturing.
· Other duties may be assigned as required.
· Ensure continued compliance with ISO 9000 requirements in the Materials planning and warehouse Department.
· Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of Mapics ERP system.
· Other duties may be assigned as required.
· Comply with ESH rules. |
Requirements |
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field or equivalent.
· Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in materials/ production management in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability and statistical inference.
· Good communication skills and teamwork player.
· Able to communicate successfully in English in both written and oral form.
· Computer literate.
· Ability to analyse and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables issues.
· Familiar with ERP system.
· 3 years of management experience is preferred. |
