| Responsibilities |
SPECIFIC DUTIES
1. In charge of materials management, include planning, purchasing, logistics (import & export), materials flow control and receiving/shipping
2. Continuously improve OTD and the materials related downtime
3. Manage imported/local purchased materials, and the export/local sales dynamics , to ensure Customs compliance for bonded manufacturing and that of the general manufacturing
4. Continues to drive material cost reduction and inventory volume and the turns improvements
5. Continues to drive logistics cost reduction
6. Champion supply chain management programs with suppliers.
7. Setup yearly department goal and objectives in support of plant goals and objectives.
8. Lead and coordinate Material team to reach the goals and objectives
9. Periodically SOP review and update in compliance with company internal control requirements and government regulations.
10. Purchasing cycle time reduction
11. Import transportation and Customs clearance cycle time reduction
12. Training and develop subordinates
13. Local Sourcing coordination
14. Utilize statistic method to measure working quality and achieve the quality objectives: six-sigma |
| Requirements |
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree with relevant background.
2. At least 10 years manufacturing industry/material management experience.
3. Good command of written and spoken English.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. B.S. Or above Degree in business or engineering major.
6. Knowledge in purchasing procedures, import and export, production and inventory control, basic engineering and manufacturing.
7. Knowledge in customs operation process and government regulations
8. Knowledge in logistics operations
9. Ability to use computer application software
10. Knowledge in ERP |
