An American wholly owned company, fortune 500 company. There is a newly established R&D center and factory. The produce is gear reducer, locating in TEDA. |
Responsibilities |
1. Identify potential supplier risks and develop and implement proactive action plans to prevent problems from occurring. 2. Conducts supplier capability studies to determine true supplier production capacity and develop contingency plans. 3. Conducts supplier flexibility studies and Value Stream Mapping in order to better understand the supply base. 4. Works with supplier on continuous improvement projects to reduce Manufacturing Critical-Path Time. 5. Assist Supplier Quality Engineers in eliminating immediate production downtime risks. |
Requirements |
1. Strong experience in manufacturing/production environment (emphasis in metal fabrication) 2.Strong experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma CI projects. 3. Strong experience in supplier evaluation and supplier development. 4. Experience in project management (team member/leader in multinational company). 5. Knowledge of quality systems (QS9000/TS16949/ISO9000), Root Cause analysis, 5 S approach and preventative QE techniques a plus. 6. Knowledge of product and/or tooling designs a plus. 7. Excellent language skills in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal). 8. Bachelor (4 year) and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering |
