Responsibilities |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ø Manage and lead incoming material quality assurance activities.
Ø Develop and optimize the supplier quality improvement processes and system to achieve the business goals.
Ø Work as the champion of the projects for supplier quality improvement.
Ø Analyze and solve the component quality issues with the improvement on both the supplier product process and quality system.
Ø Support new supplier qualification activities and PPAP part validation.
Ø Perform on site check and audit at suppliers to verify the root cause analysis and action implementation.
Ø Coordinate quality issues on supplied parts with production, supply chain and engineering.
Ø Coach suppliers in “Continuous Improvement” techniques, with the aim of achieving Six Sigma material qualities. Ensure the timely resolution of supplier action requests.
Ø Communicate data needs and quality issues with suppliers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ø This reports to: Supplier Quality & Warranty Manager
Ø Maintain appropriate relationships with all functional areas of the Company.
Ø Maintain appropriate relationship with suppliers. |

Ø Ability to read blueprints and/or shop drawings and to manage from data.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Ø Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Ø Working experience in high-mix low-volume industry
Ø Minimum of four five years in Fabrication, Welding, Machining, Tooling, etc.
Ø Minimum of three years in a quality control work experience.
Ø Good communication skills, report writing as well as good analytical skill, computer skill.
Ø Must be hands-on and willing to travel at short notice.
Ø Initiative, creative and team work style.
Ø Smart of English writing and speaking.
Ø Knowledge of ISO 9000, TS16949 practices and policies.
Ø Six Sigma certification preferred. |
