| Responsibilities |
Responsibilities:
Make Nacelle product & process quaity improvement as customer concern oriented:
1.- Implementation of Gamesa Wind Quality procedures, Quality Improvement Tools within the GAMESA Wind plant.
2.- Leadership and organization of plant Quality Function in China as well as management of the daily activities and training.
3.- Assume and put into practice the direction set out by the Nacelle component Quality Manager and plant manager.
4.- Accomplish the targets of plant quality, cost reduction, non-conformity costs and deliveries.
5. In charge to prepare the plant quality function budget (Expense and Investment) according company business plan and strictly control actual cost to follow budget.
6.- Manage inspection tooling and other investment of plant Quality Function
7. To be in charge of plant quality control function and to control plant quality to meet Gamesa Standard.
8. To Stop/prevent non-conforming products from reaching customers and/or specifies how to handle them.
9.- Coordinate to specify, execute and monitor the inspection activities
10.- To Identify/specify, execute and verify actions to prevent non-conformities in products..
11.- To Investigate / inspect materials, specifications, etc. suggested or used by the supplier in relation to the design/manufacture of the articles used by GAMESA and specify the changes necessary to conform to the specifications.
12.- Periodical working reports are made to present to management team according to nacelle component quality manager / plant manager |
| Requirements |
Requirements:
At least Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineering or similar
The knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools as well as ISO9001, ISO14001 or ISO 16949 procedures are needed.
Good English on oral, reading and writing
Ideal candidate will be self-confident and self-starter, with good communication skills. Team working oriented with ability to coordinate activities.
At least 5 years of proven experience in similar positions in Quality at leader industrial companies (wind turbine, aerospace, automotive, etc). and at least 10 years in industrial field. With machining experience is plus.
Organized mind and able to work following company standards and procedures with capacity and ability to work in an organized manner within a fast growing market and under pressure.
Previous experiences should have been linked to Quality control with mechanical materials
Person with discipline, technical criteria to take decision, highly motivated and available to travel extensively. |
