Responsibilities |
Main responsibility · To plan, direct and provides general supervision over the activities of assigned personnel in business unit finance department; · To be responsible for the business unit financial statements such as statements of comprehensive income, statements of cash flows and statements of financial position for statutory reports; · To be responsible for financial & management accounting functions including timely reporting, budgeting, cash flow projection, treasury, cash management and internal controls; · To be responsible for business unit taxation planning and liaise with tax agents on effective tax schemes; · To control and monitor inter-company transactions and balances; · To conduct thorough analysis of data and gather critical information to enable the provision of comprehensive and timely business analysis focusing on cost savings opportunities and efficiencies; · To pro-actively identify key issues, risks and opportunities and to make recommendations to the management on financial and non-financial decisions; · To maintain or upgrade current computerised accounting system in order to accommodate the expansion needs of the Group; · To be representative of business unit finance in Management’s meeting; · To be key person in liaising with external parties e.g. Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, Solicitors, etc. · To deliver timely for any ad-hoc projects and reports required by the Group. · To improve the company costing structure and to be able to prepare profitability by products. Must be prepared to oversee the finance function of multiple companies. Requirements Experience 8 years with 3 years at management level covering full spectrum of Finance, Accounting and Taxation. Education Bachelor Degree in Accounting and preferably a member of chartered/certified public accountant association which is worldwide recognised. Skills / Knowledge (or any special requirement) High integrity with good analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Able to provided value added and business solutions.Strong MS Excel skill.Able to work independently as well as being a team-player. Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.Resourceful, proactive and dynamic personality. |
