Responsibilities |
Key Responsibilities
1. Develops policies and procedures to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the company’s inventory procurement, non-inventory items and service item procurement, supplier management, supply and demand balance, short/medium/long term supply plan, inventory level and manufacturing progress control, warehouse management and product distribution system.
2. Periodically review and update department performance to division operation director as required.
3. Management of sales forecast and trend analysis to ensure that warning capacity problem are managed and properly communication to customer.
4. Shortening product cycle time through streamlining of material, production planning.
5. Inventory controlling to meet company target and continuously improving with new tool and sourcing process.
6. Lead, direct and monitor the materials and warehouse operational activities. Ensure the organization has access to the materials and inputs it needs to operate and goods are handled, stored safely,cost-effectively.Controls warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing goods.
7. To manage employees in the fulfillment of customs requirement for the import/export and transshipment of packages and documents in a time sensitive environment.
8. Coordinate with related departments and make production plans to meet business needs.
9. Setup yearly department goal and objectives in support of organization goal and objectives.
10. Manages and controls departmental budgets.
11. Provide coaching, direction for staff in the area of business and personal development. |
Requirements |
Job Requirements:
1. Ability to work in an integrated team, with a high degree of achievement orientation, initiative, teamwork and Cooperation as Vishay competencies required.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing planning management positions, preferably with supply chain management and proven logistic management and warehouse management experience.
3. Preferably a graduate in Bachelor’s degree or above, industrial engineering or business & administration relevant major.
4. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
5. Be proficient in using the computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Intranet etc. |
