| Responsibilities |
Main Responsibilities
•Potential Supplier Assessment, development and qualification casting and welding process audits.
•Work closely with NPD team to follow up supplier key point process and solve technical & quality issue.
•Parts and components approval and supplier document check and management.
•Supplier quality control and handling of deviations
•Monitor supplier quality and solve supplier quality problem in production.
•Other task assigned by leaders |
| Requirements |
Qualifications /Experience
•Bachelor’s degree or above major in Mechanical engineering related.
•3 - 5 years of working experience in Supplier Quality role, preferably in a Foundry / Manufacturing Industry (Essential)
•Exposure to secondary processes such as welding, heat treatment, NDE and machining will be necessary for the job (Essential)
•Understands material characteristics of various metals/alloys
•Candidate should also have hands-on knowledge/experience in Metrology and Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing
•Good Analytical, communication, follow-up skills and is adequate in English
•SPC experience and Lean Six sigma ideology is preferred
•Proven abilities to maintain close working relationship with supplier management and sourcing teams.
•Ability to interpret within established procedures and practices as well as exercise independent judgment in complex situations Work
•Good team player, meticulous, self-driven and independent
•Willing to travel occasionally
