Position Business Development Manager

Responsibilities Communication
1.  Establish Secop image both in China and SEA refrigeration markets, and
keep continuous expansion of corporate influence in target areas by
multi-perspectives.
2.  Provide relevant selections for various communications externally.
3.  Produce and update technical and promotional literatures for responsible
regions, and datasheet management.
4.  Maintain Chinese website to ensure a functional network platform with
aligned contents for reginal customers, enhance prompt dissemination of Secop
Press or relevant industrial information by Wechat and other channels.
5.  Be responsible for VI introduction internally as well as through
distributions to present a unified brand image to the global markets.
6.  Establish closer relationship with local industrial associations (e.g.
CAR, CHEEA, CHAA, etc.) for market dynamics update and possible opportunities to
promote products appropriately.
7.  Keep regular contacts with industrial consultancy to get valuable data to
support sales and set-up of market intelligence in responsible regions.
 
Ø  Campaigns and promotion
1.  Intention of introducing new or competitive products to support sales in
relevant business areas, and strengthening corporate brand, improving the
influence both in China and SEA by multi-perspectives.
2.  Define campaigns objectives in close cooperation with Global Marketing
and regional Sales team, initiate market promotion plan and develop
materials.
3.  Implement the campaigns in cooperation with Sales and Application team
strictly as scheduled timetable.
4.  Track the results of the campaigns, and provide summary report inside the
team afterwards.
 
Ø  Market intelligence
1.  Explore relevant market information through multi-channel and consolidate
knowledge and insights upon industry to support establishment of market
intelligence in responsible regions.
2.  Drive market mapping with Sales team to figure out current competition
situations as well as strengths and weakness in different business
segmentations, and conduct half-year review.
3.  Release Chinese market report quarterly for internal reference, collect
and edit related industry information (e.g. regulations, standards, guidelines,
etc.) for propagation
4.  Conduct research and analysis of specific market segmentation to define
effective approach strategy together with Sales team and work out action
plan.
5.  Support on the assessment of customers and competitors, look into new
leads to support business expansion via exhibitions, tradeshows and industrial
conferences.
 
Ø  Business development
1.  Together with regional Sales Director to initiate update of strategy and
perspectives, investigate new opportunities in related markets, develop new
markets and monitor trends and characteristics in the markets.
2.  Understand objectives, issues and trends impacting the business,
translate them into competitive advantage for the organization, leverage
strengths and resources of multi areas.
3.  Manage market and customer demands to ensure that through structured idea
generation to collect customers, competitors and market knowledge achieve a
superior and competitive portfolio of solutions.
4.  Be the value adding link between the market and R&D for products
request, specifications and value proposition to ensure the markets relevance
and innovation are aligned.
5.  Act as the commercial sparring partner in project development period with
the responsibility of market introduction.
6.  Drive development of the value proposition and market communication upon
new opportunities and specifications for superior, competitive, environmentally
sustainable products and solutions meeting the voice of the customer.
7.  Drive business cases in all dimensions and new opportunities, support
Sales in building business in relation to the opportunity list and be the Owner
of business case until program or project manager’s takeover.
8.  Building up and initiate the leads qualification and management process,
ensure on time opportunity update in CRM system and help Sales use the tool
accurately.
 
Ø  Distribution management
1.  Monitor distribution channel management
2.  Work out the incentive system together with Sales to motivate
distributors, and optimize related processes to ensure a steady year-over-year
growth.
